nitrous oxide

İngilizce - Türkçe

NITROUS OXIDE
Nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, is a colorless and odorless gas with the chemical formula N2O. It is a non-flammable gas that can be compressed into a liquid.
Nitrous oxide has several uses, including as an anesthetic in medical and dental procedures, as a propellant in aerosol cans, as a fuel oxidizer in rocket engines, and as a recreational drug.

When used as a recreational drug, nitrous oxide is inhaled, usually from small metal canisters or balloons filled with the gas. The effects of nitrous oxide can include a feeling of euphoria, dizziness, and hallucinations. However, inhaling nitrous oxide can also be dangerous and even lethal in certain cases, particularly if used excessively or in combination with other substances. In addition to its recreational use, nitrous oxide can also contribute to air pollution and climate change as a greenhouse gas. It is produced naturally by certain bacteria in soil and water, as well as by human activities such as agriculture, fossil fuel combustion, and industrial processes.
